Mrs. Teresa Barksdale

My name is Teresa Barksdale; I am the guidance counselor at Williams Avenue Elementary. I graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. I have my Master’s Degree and Education Specialist Degree in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama. This is my fifth year as the guidance counselor for Williams Avenue Elementary. I taught Special Education for seven years at Fort Payne Middle School. As the Guidance Counselor at William Avenue Elementary I will focus on assisting and supporting parents, students, our school, and our community in achieving goals and success.
